General Information: General Description
The shift control solenoid valve (SS-A) is ON/OFF type. When TCM supplies variable current to solenoid valve, the solenoid valve operates and controls the speed range.

The transmission Input Speed Sensor (ISS) value must be equal to Output Speed Sensor (OSS) value times the transmission current gear position the operation value equal TCM operation value. For sensor value is 1000 RPM and 8th speed gear ratio is 0.6, then ISS value must be 600 RPM.
