DTC P0743-00: Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Electrical: General Description

The Transmission Control Module (TCM) activates or deactivates the damper clutch (aka torque converter clutch) by using supplied hydraulic pressure. The main purpose of damper clutch is to reduce fuel consumption by lowering the load on hydraulic pressure device inside of T/C.
