DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check motor current
  • Faulty motor
  • Faulty MDPS current sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON" after 3s
Threshold Value
  • Motor current error difference between measured motor current and request motor current is greater than 12A
Fail Safe
  • MDPS warning lamp "ON", MDPS control is inhibited
Restoration Conditions
  • Next Ignition cycle
