DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the CAN message
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short circuit of the CAN communication line
  • Faulty ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Vehicle speed signal is invalid (Above 255 Km/h (158 mph))
Fail Safe
  • EPS warning lamp "ON", set to 80 km/h (50 mph) mode
Restoration Conditions
  • When ECM receives normal signal
