DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check ECM message time interval
  • Poor connector connection
  • Connector disconnected
  • Open or short in CAN line
  • Faulty ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Abnormal ECM CAN message for higher than 3s
Fail Safe
  • EPS warning lamp "ON", set to 800 RPM mode
Restoration Conditions
  • When ECM receives normal signal
