Inspection Condition	Inspection Procedure	Reference
Ignition "ON".	Ignition "OFF". Ignition "ON". Connect the KDS to the Data Link Connector (DLC). Check the "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" using KDS. Clear any DTCs stored in the system with KDS. Drive the vehicle or system according to the diagnostic conditions of the fault finding conditions. Re-check DTC in the system with KDS. Did the same DTC is stored in the system?	-

Good

Remove each unit/module connector that constitutes the CAN communication network, and check if the DTC is cleared.
If a steady value is measured when the connector is removed, check the grounding short of the respective component and communication line.
Repair or replace as necessary and then Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

No Good

Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
Disconnect units/modules constituting the CAN communication one by one and check that the DTC is cleared. If the normal value is measured when disconnecting the connector, replace the relevant units/modules and Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
