Circuit Inspection

Inspection Item Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
Open in circuit inspection (ICU ↔ SRSCM)
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the battery (-) cable and wait at least for five minutes.
  3. Disconnect ICU, SRSCM connector.
 ICU connector 17 (P-CAN high) SRSCM connector 36 (P-CAN high) Approx. below 1Ω
ICU connector 18 (P-CAN low) SRSCM connector 35 (P-CAN low) Approx. below 1Ω
Open in circuit inspection (ICU ↔ PBS)
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the battery (-) cable and wait at least for five minutes.
  3. Disconnect ICU, PBS connector.
 ICU connector 33 (signal) PBS connector 1 (signal) Approx. below 1Ω
Short in circuit inspection (PBS ↔ Chassis ground)
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the battery (-) cable and wait at least for five minutes.
  3. Disconnect PBS connector.
 PBS connector 1 (signal) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω
Open in circuit inspection (PBS ↔ Chassis ground)
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the battery (-) cable and wait at least for five minutes.
  3. Disconnect PBS connector.
 PBS connector 2 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
Oscilloscope (PBS)
  1. Ignition "ON".
  2. Measure the waveform using VMI of KDS.
