Squib Circuit Inspection: Notes

NOTE: If dummy and dummy adaptor are not able to be prepared, use a known-good DRBPT or 2Ω resistor.
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the 12V battery (-) cable and wait for 5 minutes or more.
  3. Remove the DRBPT module and connect the dummy and dummy adapter to the DRBPT module connector.
  4. Connect the 12V battery (-) cable and ignition "ON" and wait for 30s or more.
  5. Connect KDS to Data Link Connector (DLC) and clear DTC with KDS and diagnose again.
  6. Are any DTCs stored in the system?

    Good 

    No Good 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If problem still occurs, replace DRBPT module and then Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
