Main Harness Circuit Inspection

CAUTION: Please be careful handling the SRSCM. The BPT, CAB and SAB can be operated when the SRSCM has an impact and rotation when ignition is "ON". It may be cause serious risk.

Power inspection (SRSCM ↔ Chassis ground)	Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the 12V battery (-) terminal cable from the 12V battery, and wait at least five minutes. Disconnect SRSCM connector. Power inspection (SRSCM ↔ Chassis ground)	Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the 12V battery (-) terminal cable from the 12V battery, and wait at least five minutes. Disconnect SRSCM connector. Connect the 12V battery (-) terminal cable.	SRSCM connector	10 (Memory power)	Chassis ground	-	B+
Open in circuit inspection (SRSCM ↔ Chassis ground)	Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the 12V battery (-) terminal cable from the 12V battery, and wait at least five minutes. Disconnect SRSCM connector.	SRSCM connector	40 (ground)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. below 1Ω

Good

If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the SRSCM and Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

No Good

Repair as necessary and then Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
