Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
NOTE: After disconnecting the battery negative (-) terminal, wait at least 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
Remove the front seat back cover.
(Refer to Body - "FRONT SEAT BACK COVER ")
Separate the first row side airbag wiring (A).

Remove the first row side airbag (A) after removing the nuts.
Tightening torque:

6.9 - 9.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.1 - 7.2 lb.ft)
