Removal & Installation: Removal

Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
NOTE: After disconnecting the battery negative (-) terminal, wait at least 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Body - "CRASH PAD PANEL ")
Remove the knee airbag (A) after removing the nuts.
Tightening torque:

5.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.6 - 0.8 kgf.m, 4.3 - 5.8 lb.ft, 52.1 - 69.4 lb.in)

Disconnect the knee airbag connector (A).
