Removal & Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
    NOTE: After disconnecting the battery negative (-) terminal, wait at least 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
  2. Remove the driver airbag module (B) by pressing the fastening pin using the service hole (A) on the back of the steering wheel.

  3. Disconnect the airbag module connector (B) and horn connector (A).
