Removal & Installation: Removal
- Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
- Recover the refrigerant with Recovery/Recycling/Charging equipment.
(Refer to Air conditioning System - "REFRIGERANT RECOVERY/RECYCLING/CHARGING/VACUUM/LEAK TEST ")
- Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Remove the drive belt.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "DRIVE BELT ")
- Disconnect the compressor ECV connector (A).
- Separate the suction & liquid hose assembly (A) after removing the nut.
Tightening torque:
21.6 - 32.4 N.m (2.2 - 3.3 kgf.m, 15.9 - 23.9 lb.ft)
NOTE: When disconnecting the line, put a plug or cap on the system immediately to protect it from moisture and dust. - Separate the discharge hose assembly (A) after removing the nut.
Tightening torque:
21.6 - 32.4 N.m (2.2 - 3.3 kgf.m, 15.9 - 23.9 lb.ft)
