Removal & Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Recover the refrigerant with Recovery/Recycling/Charging equipment.

    (Refer to Air conditioning System - "REFRIGERANT RECOVERY/RECYCLING/CHARGING/VACUUM/LEAK TEST ")

  3. Disconnect the A/C pressure transducer connector (A).

  4. Remove the A/C pressure transducer (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

    NOTE: Be careful not to bend the suction & liquid hose assembly.
