DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  • Wiring contact failure
  • Signal circuit open or short to the ground
  • Faulty auto defog actuator
  • Faulty A/C control module
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Feedback signal is lower than 0.1V for more than 1s
Fail Safe
  • If Vent B/L mode is selected: Actuator is positioned at close
  • If other mode is selected: Actuator is positioned at open
