DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage monitoring
  • Wiring contact failure
  • Short circuit of signal (feedback) to the power
  • Faulty driver mode control actuator
  • Faulty A/C control module
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Feedback signal is higher than 4.9V for more than 1s
Fail Safe
  • If vent mode is selected: Actuator is positioned at vent mode
  • If other mode is selected: Actuator is positioned at defrost (DEF) mode
