DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage monitoring
  • Wiring contact failure
  • Short circuit of signal (feedback) to the power
  • Faulty passenger temperature actuator
  • Faulty A/C control module
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Feedback signal voltage is higher than 4.9V for more than 1s
Fail Safe
  • Passenger set temperature is lower 22°C (72°F): Actuator is positioned at cool mode
  • Passenger set temperature is higher than 22.5°C (73°F): Actuator is positioned at warm mode
