DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check CAN message from TCM
  • TCM faulty
  • CAN communication line between ECM and TCM
  • Other ECUs incorrectly occupy the CAN bus
Enable Condition
  • Engine speed is faster than 32 RPM
  • Battery voltage is greater than 11V
  • Delay time after ignition switch on is more than 2s
Threshold Value
  • CAN communication error with TCM
  • Time exceeded with on message from TCM
Diagnostic Time
  • 2s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
