HO2S Inspection

  1. Perform a visual/physical check for the following items
    • The oxygen sensor is mounted correctly
    • Check for silicone contamination of the oxygen sensor. It confirmed that the white powder is buried in the surface of the oxygen sensor, in which an abnormal value is displayed and abnormal value is displayed
    • Contamination by the oil, fuel and coolant
    • Improper sealant used
    • If contamination is found, replace the oxygen sensor after removing the cause of contamination to prevent recontamination. Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

    Good 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the fuel catalyst and Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

    No Good
