- Time after engine start is greater than 1.6 to 5.2s
- The difference between CAM set-point and actual CAM position is greater than 5.25°CRK
- Engine speed is between 512 to 1504 RPM and 4992 RPM
- Engine Oil Temperature (ECT) is between 20°C (68°F) and 120°C (248°F)
- Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
- Camshaft set-point is not closed to full retard of full advanced position
