DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring sensor signal
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short to ground in harness
  • Oil pressure sensor
  • ECM
Enable Condition
  • No disabling faults present
  • Engine Runtime is longer than 5s
  • Battery voltage is greater than 8V
Threshold Value
  • Sensor's voltage represents short circuit to battery
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • MIL OFF (only DTC)
