Check spark plug

Remove the spark plug from the cylinder.
Perform visual/physical checks on the following conditions: Check for insulation damage, electrode wear, contamination of oil or fuel, and loose terminals and cracks.

Check the plug gap: 0.8 to 0.9 mm.
Check that the color of the plug is brighter than other plugs.
Good
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
No Good
- Abnormal engine oil level: Refill the engine oil to the maximum line "F" and Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
- Abnormal engine oil condition: Replace engine oil and Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
- Repair as necessary and Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
