- Engine coolant temperature at start between -9.8°C (14°F) and 54.8°C (131°F)
- Intake air temperature at engine start is greater than -9.8°C (14°F)
- Ambient air temperature is greater than -9.8°C (14°F)

- Measured coolant temperature is less than 69 to 79°C (156.2 to 174.2°F) when modeled coolant temperature is greater than 80 to 90°C (176 to 194°F)
