- Camshaft set-point movement is greater than 12°CRK within less than 1s
- Camshaft set-point is moved more than 3 times since engine start
- Engine speed is between 512 to 1504 RPM and 4992 RPM
- Engine oil temperature is between 20°C (68°F) and 120°C (248°F)
- Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V

- Time after engine start is greater than 1.6 to 5.2s
- Camshaft set-point is moved more than 3 times since engine start.
- Difference between CAM set-point and actual position is greater than 5.25°CRK
- Engine speed is between 512 to 1504 RPM and 4992 RPM
- Engine oil temperature is between 20°C (68°F) and 120°C (248°F)
- Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
