Removal & Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the fuel pump module.

    (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "FUEL PUMP MODULE ")

  2. Disconnect the fuel pump motor connector (A) and fuel sender connector (B).

  3. Separate the feed tube (A) after removing the clip.

  4. Remove the fuel pump plate assembly after releasing the cushion hook (A).

  5. Remove the reservoir-cup after releasing the fixing hook (A).

  6. Disconnect the ground terminal (A).
  7. Remove the pre-filter (B).

  8. Remove the fixing clip (A) and the assist pump assembly (B).

    NOTE:
    1. Unhook the clip (A, B) by using an awl (C).

    2. Separate the tube (A) with the assist pump (B) by pulling it

  9. Remove the fuel pump motor (A) from the fuel filter (B).
