Cylinder Head

Using a precision straight edge and feeler gauge, measure the warpage of the surface contacting with the cylinder block

If the flatness is greater than maximum, replace the cylinder head.

Flatness of cylinder head gasket surface 

Standard: Less than 0.05 mm (0.002 in.)

[Less than 0.02 mm (0.0008 in.)/150x150]

Flatness of manifold gasket surface 

Standard: Less than 0.01 mm (0.004 in)/110x110

Check the combustion chamber, intake ports, exhaust ports and cylinder block surface for cracks. If cracked, replace the cylinder head.
