Removal & Installation: Installation

Install the water pump (A) with new gaskets.

NOTE:
- Clean the contacting surface before assembling.
- Always use new gaskets.
- Always use a new seal bolt (Bolt B)
Tightening torque

A: 9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

B: 21.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.2 - 2.7 kgf.m, 15.9 - 19.5 lb.ft) - (Do not reuse)

C: 21.6 - 23.5 N.m (2.2 - 2.4 kgf.m, 15.9 - 17.4 lb.ft)

D: 9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

E: 9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Install the water pump pulley (A).
Tightening torque:

7.8 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 - 7.2 lb.ft)

Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Install the water pump to the specified torque.
Fill with engine coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")
Start engine and check for leaks.
