Removal & Installation: Removal

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine And Transaxle Assembly - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
Drain the engine coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")
Remove the air duct.
(Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "AIR CLEANER ")
Disconnect the radiator upper hose (A) and lower hose (B) after releasing the clamps.

Separate the ATF cooler hoses (A).

Remove the front bumper beam.
(Refer to Body - "FRONT BUMPER BEAM ASSEMBLY ")
Remove the air intake shield (A) after removing the bolts and fasteners.
Tightening torque:

7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Remove the air guard wiring after removing the clips (A).

Remove the air guard (A) after removing the bolts and fasteners.
Tightening torque:

7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Remove the A/C pipe mounting bolt (A).
Tightening torque:

7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Disconnect the cooling fan connector (A).

Separate the reservoir hose (A).

Remove the radiator upper mounting bracket (A) after removing the bolts.
Tightening torque:

7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Remove the radiator assembly (A).
