Charging System: Alternator: Inspection: [Rotor]

  1. Check for continuity between each slip ring (A). It is normal if there is continuity.
  2. Check that there is continuity between the slip ring and the rotor (B) or rotor shaft (C). It is normal if there is no continuity.

  3. If any of item 1 and 2 above is defective, replace the rotor.
