Removal & Installation: Removal: 4WD

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
Remove the rear wheel and tire.
(Refer to Suspension System - "WHEEL ")
Disconnect the EPB connector (A).

Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor (A).
Tightening torque:

8.8 - 13.8 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)

Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor wiring bracket (A) by loosening the bolt.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 16.7 N.m (1.0 - 1.7 kgf.m, 7.2 - 12.3 lb.ft)

Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor connector (A).
Remove the rear wheel speed sensor (C) by loosening the bolt (B).
Tightening torque:

19.6 - 29.4 N.m (2.0 - 3.0 kgf.m, 14.5 - 21.7 lb.ft)
