DTC C1623-08: CAN Time-Out Steering Angle Sensor: General Description

The steering angle sensor is applied to determine the direction of rotation of the vehicle.

The direction of rotation of the vehicle detected by the sensor is transmitted angle information to the HECU by a CAN signal via the CAN communication line.

The HECU detects the operating speed and angle of the steering wheel with this signal and is inputted into the anti-roll control and used.
