Circuit Inspection

Power inspection (DBC switch ↔ Chassis ground)
  1. Disconnect the connector(s) from DBC switch.
  2. Ignition "ON".
 DBC switch connector 1 (ON/START Input) Chassis ground - B+
Voltage inspection (DBC switch ↔ Chassis ground)
  1. Ignition "ON".
  2. DBC switch "OFF".
 DBC switch connector 14 (signal) Chassis ground - 0V
Voltage inspection (DBC switch ↔ Chassis ground)
  1. Ignition "ON".
  2. DBC switch "ON".
 DBC switch connector 14 (signal) Chassis ground - B+
Short in circuit inspection (DBC switch ↔ Chassis ground)
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the connector(s) from DBC switch.
 DBC switch connector 14 (signal) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω
Open in circuit inspection (DBC switch ↔ HECU)
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the connector(s) from DBC switch, HECU.
 DBC switch connector 14 (signal) HECU connector 15 (signal) Approx. below 1Ω
