DTC C1235-01: Pressure Sensor (Primary) - Electrical: General Description

The pressure sensor, installed in the Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit (HECU), converts the brake pressure to judge the driver's brake intention when the EBD/ABS/ESC (ESP) program is operated. When pressure is applied to the sensor, the resistance of the sensor's strain gauge changes. The change in resistance changes the voltage output from the sensor.
