Removal & Installation: Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    NOTE: Use a new brake hose washer whenever installing.
  2. Rotate the caliper piston and push the direction of the arrow. (Without EPB)

  3. Perform the "Assembly Check" by KDS following in the order below. (With EPB)
    1. Connect self-diagnosis connector (16pins) located under the driver side crash pad to self-diagnosis device, and then turn the self-diagnosis device after key is ON.
    2. Select the "vehicle model" and "Electronic Stability Program" on KDS vehicle selection screen.
    3. Select the "Assembly Check" on KDS screen, then select OK.
    4. Proceed with the test according to the screen instructions.

  4. After installation, bleed the brake system.

    (Refer to Brake system - "BRAKE BLEEDING PROCEDURES ")

  5. Check for brake fluid leaks
