DTC B160F-00: IAU Local CAN Bus Off: General Description

The main features of CAN (Controller Area Network) bus system are:

• Signals are broadcast in both directions.
• The Multi-master principle.
• High availability by locating failed control units.
• Standardization in accordance with ISO 11898.

  Vehicle electronically control need many informations of each module to increase convenience/safety by optimum control. The control module can either receive data from the each module by using CAN communication.
