Ignition "ON".	IBU connector	9 (P-CAN high)	Chassis ground	-	Fig.1 below
Ignition "ON".	IBU connector	8 (P-CAN low)	Chassis ground	-	Fig.1 below
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect battery (-) cable. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	IBU connector	9 (P-CAN high)	IBU connector	8 (P-CAN low)	Approx. 60Ω

Good

Disconnect P-CAN communication units one by one and monitor DTC to find the cause.
If the DTC erase, substitute with a known-good unit and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the unit and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

No Good

Check for open, short to battery or ground in P-CAN line.
Repair as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
