Removal And Installation: Removal

WARNING:

When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". Refer to HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION AND CAUTION . If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.

Turn the IG OFF, separate the auxiliary battery (12 V) (-) terminal, and disconnect the high voltage service interlock connector.

Remove the front trunk pad (A).

Remove the auxiliary battery (12 V) service cover (A).

Disconnect the auxiliary battery (12 V) negative (-) terminal (A) after loosening the nut.

Tightening torque :

7.8 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 - 7.2 lb.ft)

WARNING: Wait more than 5 minutes for capacitor of the high voltage battery system to be discharged completely.

Remove the luggage floor center tray.
(Refer to Luggage Trim - " LUGGAGE FLOOR CENTER TRAY ")
Disconnect the 3rd seat connectors (A).

Open the 3rd seat bolt caps (A).

Remove the 3rd seat assembly (A) after removing the bolts.
Tightening torque :

44.1 - 58.8 N.m (4.5 - 6 kgf.m, 32.5 - 43.4 lb.ft)
