DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Deviation check between the actual CAM position and the CAM set-point position (steady deviation) - exhaust
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty OCV
  • Faulty cam phaser
  • Faulty exhaust CVVT assembly
Enable Conditions
  • Camshaft set-point movement more than 10 degree CRK
  • Engine speed at between 576 and 4992 RPM
  • Engine oil temperature at between 68°F (20°C) and 248°F (120°C)
  • Battery voltage at between 11V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Deviation between actual valve and target valve is more than 5.25 degree
Diagnostic Time
  • 20s

  • 2 driving cycle
