Repair Procedures: Replacement

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the under cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

  2. Remove the ATF drain plug (A), allow the fluid to drain out and then reinstall the drain plug.

    Tightening torque: 

    34.0 - 44.0 N.m (3.5 - 4.5 kgf.m, 25.3 - 32.5 lb.ft)

    NOTE: The existing ATF drain plug gasket must be replaced with a new one (do not reuse).
  3. Install the air cleaner assembly.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")

  4. Remove the eyebolt (A).

    NOTE: The existing eyebolt O-ring (A) must be replaced with a new one (do not reuse).

  5. Fill the automatic transaxle with about 5.0 L of ATF SP4M-1 through the ATF filler hole.
  6. Perform the ATF level check procedure.

    (Refer to Fluid - "INSPECTION ")
