DTC U0613-F0: Lost Communication With Intake Air Temperature Sensor 2 Bank 1: General Description

The air flow measurement sensor is mounted on the intake line and is a hot-film type sensor. This sensor measures the mass air flow and transmits the frequency signal to the PCM. The PCM determines that a high mass air flow is accelerated or high-load, and vice versa, a low mass air flow is deceleration or idle. These sensor signals allow the PCM to control EGR and fuel volume more accurately.
