DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check CAN communication with PCA-R
  • Poor connector connection
  • CAN communication line between PCA-R and PCM
  • Faulty PCA-R
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 9 and 16V
  • Time after ignition "ON" is greater than 1s
  • Engine speed is greater than 32 RPM
Threshold Value
  • CAN message lost from PCA-R
Diagnostic Time
  • 2s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
