DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check LIN communication with alternator
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short in circuit
  • Alternator
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 9 and 16V
  • Time after engine start is greater than 1s
Threshold Value
  • Duration of communication lost from alternator is over 5s
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
