Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical inspection
  • Poor connector connection
  • ECTS #2
  • Short or open circuit to ground
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 9 and 16V
Threshold Value
  • The temperature measured by the ECTS at engine block is detected as signal noise due to a sudden change in temperature. (5.25°C (41.45°F) or more changes in 1s)
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.5s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
