Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical inspection
  • Poor connector connection
  • ECTS #2
  • Short or open circuit to ground
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 9 and 16V
  • Intake air temperature is greater than -30°C (-22°F)
  • More over 60s after engine "ON" (Intake air temperature is below -30° C (-22°F))
Threshold Value
  • ECTS at engine block is greater than 4.90V
Diagnostic Time
  • 1s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
