DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring engine speed
  • Poor connector connection
  • Intake system for blockage
  • Throttle plate for carbon deposits
  • Throttle body
  • PCSV
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is higher than 768 RPM
  • Battery voltage is between 11 and 16V
  • Engine coolant temperature is higher than 56°C (132.8°F)
  • Accelerate pedal is below 1.1%
  • Vehicle speed is below 1km/h (0.62MPH)
Threshold Value
  • Difference between target engine speed and actual engine speed is below 200 RPM
  • Idle torque is greater than -20Nm for 7s
Diagnostic Time
  • 3.5s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
