DTC P0464-29: Fuel Level Sensor 'A' Circuit Intermittent: General Description

The Fuel Level Sender (FLS) measures the fuel level in fuel tank and its information is used to supply the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with information regarding the monitoring condition of the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge system for leak detection. If the FLS is monitored for high or low stuck or difference between voltage of FLS and voltage deviation of FLS is exceeds limited value while driving, this is interpreted by the PCM as a fault.
