Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short or open circuit
  • CKPS
  • Engine asynchronous state
Enable Conditions
  • Synchronous stop detected
Threshold Value
  • Difference number of teeth is more than 1 (additional teeth between two reference gap is greater than 1 or below -1)
Diagnostic Time
  • 4 stop start cycles
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
