DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Abnormal signal (camshaft segment time too long or short)
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short or open in exhaust circuit
  • CMPS - In (Bank1)
  • Damaged target wheel
  • PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is greater than 32 RPM
Threshold Value
  • Detect a short circuit to battery
Diagnostic Time
  • 4 revolutions
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
