DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Abnormal assembling state
  • CMPS - In (Bank1)
  • Damaged target wheel
  • PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is greater than 650 RPM at engine synchronization is complete
  • Engine speed is greater than 300 RPM at engine synchronization is not complete
Threshold Value Case1
  • Max variation between 2 consecutive engine speed based on camshaft is greater than 3000 RPM
Case2
  • Segment duration ration between the current segment time and the previous segment time is below 0.438 or greater than 2.3
Diagnostic Time
  • Detect 16 camshaft edges
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
