DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Multiplicative long term fuel trim upper limit reached
  • Poor connector connection
  • Air leakage or restriction in intake or exhaust system
  • Dirty engine oil or oil level too high
  • PCV
  • HO2S
  • IAT
  • MAP
  • Fuel system
Enable Conditions Case 1
  • Torque is between 17% and 62%
  • Fuel system status is closed loop
  • Engine Coolant temperature is higher than 55°C (131°F)
  • IAT is lower than 85°C (185°F)
  • Canister purge control is off
Case 2
  • Engine speed is slower than 1000RPM
  • Torque is between 5.8% and 30%
  • Fuel system status is closed loop
  • Engine Coolant temperature is lower than 55°C (131°F)
  • IAT is lower than 85°C (185°F)
  • Canister purge control is off
Threshold Value Case 1
  • When long term fuel trim control is lower than or equal to -23%
Case 2
  • When long term fuel trim is lower than or equal to -7%
Diagnostic Time
  • 30s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
